APP (atactic polypropylene), a kind of by-product of iPP production (iPP:isotactic polypropylene), used to be used as the fixing adhesive for aluminium capacitor. With the development of iPP production technology, the by-product is getting less and less. Aluminium capacitor makers are sourcing the alternative.

 

APAO (Amorphous poly alpha olefin) , a kind of ethylene propylene copolymer in amorphous type, is also called as on-purpose produced APP. Different from the randomness of APP, APAO could be designed intentionally according to different needs.
